Status
Not active. No supplier is appointed, no product documentation is approved, and no buyer work has begun. This page exists because publishing an intended direction is more useful, and more honest, than implying a capability by listing a sector alongside one that genuinely operates.
Our only active division is Resources & Industrial Supply. For where this sector sits alongside the others under consideration, see sectors and future sectors.

Why this sector
The industrial water work Australian manufacturers already do for mine sites (dewatering, treatment, filtration, containment, monitoring) is the same work that municipal and agricultural operators need in regions where water is the constraint rather than the by-product. The engineering is proven in conditions most markets never have to design for.
It is also adjacent rather than novel. Several suppliers in our active division already build for water applications, which means the sector could open through relationships that already exist rather than by starting again.
What it would cover
Industrial water treatment, filtration and separation, dewatering systems as distinct from individual pumps, containment and liner systems, monitoring and instrumentation, and the maintenance and spare-part supply that follows all of it.
What would have to be true first
Activation conditions
- A verified Australian supplier appointed under the same standard applied to every other supplier
- Written authority to represent the products in defined territories
- Product documentation and an approved claims register: we say nothing the supplier has not approved
- Delivery, installation and support responsibility clearly allocated in writing
- Regulatory requirements understood for the destination markets in scope, including any potable-water or environmental approvals
- A defensible route to buyers, not a general belief that demand exists
Every condition, without exception. A sector opens when it is ready, not when an enquiry arrives.
Drinking water and public health
Anything touching potable water, public health infrastructure or environmental discharge carries a regulatory burden that varies by destination country and is not something we would assess ourselves. That work belongs with the supplier and with specialist regulatory advice, and we would not introduce a buyer until both are documented.
If you work in this sector
We are interested in hearing from Australian manufacturers in water and environmental equipment, on the clear basis that nothing here is active and there is nothing to sign. A conversation now shapes how the sector opens; it does not commit either party to anything.
Contact us, and please read company verification first, so you know exactly who you would be talking to.
