About

A small Australian company, deliberately.

Austera Global originates and qualifies international commercial opportunities for selected Australian suppliers. Technical assessment, quotation, manufacturing, warranty and delivery remain with the appointed supplier and its approved partners.

Who we are

Austera Global is operated by Andrew from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. There is one principal, and that is deliberate: you deal with the person accountable for what is said to you, not with an account manager relaying it. If you want to reach that person directly, the contact details are published, not gated behind a form that goes nowhere.

Austera Global is newly established, and we would rather say that than dress up a history we do not have. What we offer instead is a documented process, published in full, and a commercial arrangement under which a supplier carries no cost unless we produce an order.

What we do

StageWhat Austera Global does
ResearchIdentify specific, evidenced procurement requirements at named international operations
VerifyAssess Australian suppliers against a documented standard before representing them
QualifyEstablish the contracting entity, procurement route, authority, budget status and timing
RegisterRecord the opportunity with the supplier in writing before any introduction
IntroduceConnect the buyer to the supplier's named technical contact
CoordinateCarry the follow-up, documents and timeline through to the supplier being paid

The order above is a summary. The full transaction sequence, including the point at which a buyer’s identity is withheld until a supplier has acknowledged the opportunity in writing, is set out on how we work.

What we do not do

Published because the limits of a company's role are more useful than its claims

  • We do not buy, own, store or transport goods. We never take title.
  • We do not manufacture, install, commission or service equipment.
  • We do not provide engineering advice or make any technical representation. Specifications, sizing, suitability and compliance come from the supplier, in writing, and we attribute them.
  • We do not guarantee technical performance or fitness for purpose.
  • We do not finance buyers, extend credit or guarantee payment.
  • We are not a customs broker. We do not clear goods, classify tariffs or advise on duty.
  • We are not a freight forwarder and do not contract carriage.
  • We do not provide financial product advice or arrange finance, credit or investment.
  • We do not hold licences, accreditations or certifications we have not stated.

Where work falls outside what we do, we say so and route it to a party qualified and, where relevant, licensed to do it.

How we are paid

Suppliers pay Austera Global a commission on transactions we originate, against opportunities registered in writing before any introduction, payable as the supplier receives cleared customer funds.

We do not charge buyers. We accept no payment, commission, gift or benefit from any buyer-side party, and we make no undisclosed payment to any individual.

None of this is worth much as a claim. It is worth something as a set of standards you can check, which is why the verification standards and registration details sit in the trust centre rather than in a paragraph like this one.
